New Features and Improvements in the "Rise to Chaos" Season:

  • Item Upgrades: Players can now upgrade their equipment in new and powerful ways, increasing base damage and adding unique modifications that affect gameplay. By spending materials and silver with local vendors, players can refine their upgraded items and tailor each weapon and gear to fit their preferred playstyle and combat scenarios at sea.
  • World Levels: These optional difficulty levels start from World Level 2 in Season 1. The higher the world level, the better the rewards, including stronger upgraded weapons.
  • Endgame "Helm" Revamp: Players can now produce crafting materials in their factories, providing the essential resources needed to increase strength. The new upgrade tree for Helm allows players to shape their empire according to their vision, with new perks and upgrades. This will be the last season where factory levels and Spanish dollars will be reset.
  • Death Waves: A new competitive mode that arrives in the middle of the season. Here, players can use their customized equipment or choose from pre-equipped ships, each with its own strengths like Volcanic Lava Ship, Storm Wall Ship, and Legendary Hero Ship. Unique abilities like launching La Bestia Destructora missiles or summoning the terrifying Koharibo beast to help secure victory will be available. The Death Waves matches take place in four maps: Sulfur, Sanctuary, Sunken Ruins, and Muketi Falls. All rewards and experience points earned are counted towards the base game and the Smuggler's Ticket.
  • Gameplay Quality Improvements:
    • Hide equipped shields on ships
    • One-click factory funding
    • Updated map and markers
    • New mini-map
    • Enhanced clarity of weak points
    • New user experience for newcomers

Future Seasons:

  • Season 2: "War Oaths" will introduce the Frigate, the first playable massive ship in Skull and Bones, offering additional weapon ports for players to unleash even greater destructive firepower. After the events of Season 1, the Dutch Trading Company successfully captured a giant fort from the Royal Company, escalating the ongoing war in the Indian Ocean. Players will choose a side, each offering unique perks but at the cost of gaining a new and powerful enemy. The movements and alliances of players will determine which faction achieves victory by the end of the season.
  • Season 3: "Courage and Glory" reveals a new threat amid the ongoing war. A rogue warlord exploits the chaos to smuggle weapons and hold skilled officers hostage. Players will be able to rescue these officers and assign them to their ships, each offering unique boosts like repair advantages, damage increase, and faster sailing. This season also introduces the long-awaited land combat feature, with more details to be revealed as the season approaches.
  • Season 4: "Eye of the Beast" ends the year with a legendary sea monster emerging from the depths. Tired of the war, the sea people abandon their neutrality and summon the Kraken to purge the waters. To face this monster, players can unlock a new massive playable ship, the Corvette. This season will also launch the Hunter's Guild, where players can become professional hunters of sea creatures.
